At Galilee, we make sincere efforts in cultivating an authentic relationship between you, God, (and the community) through participating in the spiritual disciplines of teaching, prayer, tithing, and civic engagement. We are committed to walking with you on this journey. We believe that your life and the life of those connected to you will be positively affected by our transformational ministry.

Embracing the motto of ''Open Hearts, Open Doors and Open Minds,'' the family at Galilee Church welcomes you to a wonderful experience of worship and fellowship. With history emanating within the walls of the church and beyond, the members exude Christ's love through the mission statement of ''Befriending our neighbor, feeding the spirit, and fighting for justice.''

The demographics include that of African American, African, West Indian and Euro American and we welcome all to experience worship services that engage, provoke and fill each person with God's word. With this spirit-filled experience, we guarantee that you will never leave the sanctuary the way you came in. It is a life changing, transformational experience that will affect not only you, emerging as a new being, but also your family, friends and anyone who is associated with you. Our commitment to you is to be your gude along this faith journey, encouraging you to be God's faithful disciples and empowering you to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Faith

Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness. 

Scripture

We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives. 

Community

Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God.
